Le Moulin du Comte welcomed in October 2008 the crew and some of the cast for the making of the film Barbe Bleue.  The film is a co-production between Flach Film and Arte and supported by the Conseil Regional in the Limousin area.

The Chateau at Villemonteix and the Church at Moutier d’Ahun will feature in the film as will the river banks at Moulin du Comte.
